I suppose another 'event' was expected, though it does make one wonder if it's some sort of source of amusement for whomever is behind all of this. Unfortunately, it does make our tasks more complicated. Regardless of our current state, I do hope everyone has gotten over the circumstances. Salazar knows how long we'll be stuck like this, and starving is not an option.

It seems that whatever power saw fit to bring my lovely girlfriend here, seems to have erased all traces of her in the same manner. I did try heading for the nexus, but there seems to be northing of her here; she vanished as if she'd never been here.
Found a packet of cards and chips on the ground. Anyone up for a game of poker?

I had imagined that the past few weeks would be busier, following the holidays. I seems that the mild weather seems to have relaxed people, though I must admit that I find the extra time to catch up on paperwork is severely needed.

I must admit, the resent snow has made things considerably more for our department. Of course, I cannot comment on recent developments or on ongoing investigations, though terrible weather does generally have an adverse affect on a variety of institutions. Nevertheless, me manage quite well; I have heard reports of worse snowfall, more than the few inches here, on the continent and in the US, I am rather glad not to have to face those sort of conditions.
Malfoy, Zabini, what say you to doing something this New Years? Surely it wouldn't be the same ringing in the New Year alone.

It is quite surprising how the impending holidays appear to make everyone more efficient. I cannot say I’m displeased with the results, though one would have thought otherwise. Nevertheless, I imagine the next few days will prove a bit more hectic as we finalise coverage for those who will be spending the holidays with their family. Unlike the rest of the country, Bank Holiday Monday and Tuesday, as well as the following Monday must be treated with caution. I do anticipate the days to run smoothly, as the revelries surrounding Christmas and New Years are generally considered. Personally, I don’t foresee spending much of the holidays away from my desk, though I intend to celebrate with friends.

I must say I'm less than pleased to be heading back to work tomorrow, though I understand one cannot stay at home as one wishes.Nevertheless, having two weeks with my wife and son was enjoyable if not incredibly tiring.
Today has been splendid. Father visited for lunch, which was expected given the day, though he has visited more often since Teddy's birth.
